Tyler Janclaes | CSCS
Tyler grew up in Long Beach and graduated from Wilson High School in 2004. He was a 4 year letter winner as a linebacker for the Bruin football team and 3 year letter winner as an outfielder for their baseball team. Tyler suffered a career ending shoulder injury his senior year during a football game. This injury ignited a desire for an understanding of the functional anatomy of the human body as well as its capabilities and limitations. This desire led him to San Diego State University where he graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Therapy. Shortly after graduation, Tyler continued his education by becoming a National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Tyler now specializes in working with young athletes in order to help them achieve optimal performance while still promoting health to minimize injury risk.
